Kiatnakin Bank Public Company Limited 

Kiatnakin was founded more than four decades ago. It has benefited from Thailand’s growing economy but has also had to navigate its way through the economic crises faced by the country as a whole – particularly that of 1997.
However, thanks to diligent financial planning and excellent support from all the Bank’s stakeholders, the company has flourished. It is now a commercial bank operating on the highest principles of corporate governance and social responsibility.

Awarded License to operate in finance and securities
 
Became Broker No. 19 on the Stock Exchange of Thailand
 
Listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand
 
Became a Public Limited Company
 
Together with 57 other financial institutions was forced to temporarily suspend operations due to economic crisis
 
Granted permission by the Ministry of Finance to resume business
 
Assessed by Institute of Directors Association (IOD) as one of 50 companies enhancing good corporate governance
 
Received an upgrade in credit rating from BBB+ to A- by Tris Company Limited
Granted permission by the Ministry of Finance to establish a commercial bank
 
Officially operating as a commercial bank on October 3, 2005
 
Evaluated by IOD as one of 61 listed companies, out of 402, that exhibited excellent corporate governance for Year 2006. Tris also confirmed the Bank’s credit rating of A-

One of 10 companies from 460 listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand that received Best Shareholder Treatment  Award from Thailand Securities Depository Company Limited (TSD) in collaboration with Thai Investors Association (TIA), Listed Companies Association (LCA), and Thai Investor Relations Club (TIRC).

One of 22 companies from 448 listed companies that received a “Excellent” rating for corporate governance from the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) for the year 2008
